Chat
The AI-Starter chat feature allows you to interact with various AI assistants. This section explains the basic usage of chat.
Starting a New Chat
- Click the New Chat button at the top of the sidebar.
- Select an assistant. You can search by assistant name using the search box.
- Enter text in the message input field and click the send button or press Enter to send.
Chat Screen Layout
The chat screen consists of the following elements:
- Header: Displays the current assistant name, share button, save button, and new chat button.
- Message Area: Displays the conversation between you and the AI.
- Input Area: Contains the message input field and file attachment button.
Sending Messages
Enter text in the message input field and send with the send button or Enter key. The AI's response is displayed in real-time via streaming.
You can click the Stop Response button during generation to stop it midway.
Conversation Style (Temperature) Settings
Some assistants allow you to change the conversation style (Temperature). You can select from the following five presets before starting a chat:

System Prompt Settings
Some assistants allow you to edit the system prompt before starting a chat. A system prompt is an instruction that specifies the AI's response style and preconditions.
Choosing from Templates
Click the template button in the system prompt input field to display a list of pre-configured templates. Selecting a template applies its content to the system prompt.
Frequently used system prompts can be saved as custom templates from personal settings. For details, see Account.

User Prompt Templates
Click the template button in the message input field to display a list of message templates. Selecting a template inserts its content into the message input field.

Message Actions
You can perform operations such as copy, feedback, branch, and regenerate on AI response messages. For details, see Message Actions.
Sharing & Saving
You can share and save conversations from the chat header. For details, see Share and Save.
File Attachment
You can attach files to messages and send them. Files can be attached in the following ways:
- Click the attachment button in the input field to select a file
- Paste images or files into the input field
- Drag & drop files onto the chat area
